Join us on a voyage of discovery to the Kamchatka Peninsula, Commander Islands and the Chukota Coast, Russia’s most spectacular wilderness. Jagged peaks and volcanoes tower above us as we explore coastal rivers, visit pristine nature reserves and experience hot springs and geysers in this geothermal wonderland. We cruise to the Commander Islands, a UNESCO
biosphere reserve, to view the tremendous number of fur seals, Steller sea lions, sea otters and untold thousands of sea birds. Along the Koryakskiy and Chukotka Coast we hope to encounter the inhabitants of these lands, living a traditional life of reindeer herding, hunting and fishing.
