As
founder of Southern Sea Ventures, it has been my privilege to search the globe for new paddling adventures and I’m thrilled to bring four new journeys to our 2009 selection. Additionally, we have revamped all our Russian Far East trips and both Papua New Guinea itineraries for 2009. Our new trips include two in Croatia - ten days kayaking along the "dolphin trail" and 9 days paddling the labyrinth of the Kornati islands. Two new polar adventures, on opposite sides of the Arctic, will appeal to the modern explorer. "Arctic Dreams" is our longest trip, an odyssey of 20 days exploring Iceand, Greenland, Spitsbergen and Norway. Our "Bering Strait and Wrangel Island" trip take us north between Alaska and Russia to the land of the polar bear and pack ice. In 2009 we are pleased to be able to cater for a wide range of private trips in Turkey, Fiji, Croatia and Tonga. Bring your own group and we can help you put together your own private adventure.
Our wide selection of sea kayaking adventures enables us to offer trip to suit all levels of ability from novice to the more experienced paddler. Single participants are welcome and there is generally no single surcharge on camping trips. Our guides make the difference with the expertise to ensure safe, comfortable holidays, whether you choose a self-contained sea kayaking and camping adventure or paddles from a mother-ship.
